About Illinois Aviation Trades Association
The Illinois Aviation Trades Association (IATA) was founded on the simple principle to be a single source for industry education, peer to peer networking and statewide legislative representation for the many partners of general aviation.
IATA has remained responsive to its members' needs by ushering industry concerns before regulatory and legislative bodies to insure corporate and private aviation is rightly viewed as an integral part of our State's economy and a vital element to its future growth. General aviation expansion is essential for effective commerce and logistic development in Illinois and IATA plays a role to give our industry a collective voice.
The membership dues that you pay to be a member of the Illinois Aviation Trades Association (IATA) goes a long way towards paying the Lobbying that we do on your behalf in Springfield.
IATA maintains a contract with Cook-Witter, Inc, a consulting and lobbying firm which is based in Springfield, and was founded in 1984. Cook-Witter, Inc specializes in representing the association community and many associations utilize the firm’s services to further enhance their governmental relations programs. C-W's clients have achieved goals on issues involving healthcare, banking, manufacturing, real estate, transportation, revenue, local government and agriculture. http://cook-witter.com/
